Breast asymmetry & body image issuesWe all have bodies, and they are all different - but sometimes the world may have treated us unkindly, or we may have been subject to prejudice as a result of our perceived physical differences.
This is fundamentally not okay; however, unfortunately, it happens very often. It has happened to me, and I have also worked with numerous clients who have experienced discrimination, ridicule and humiliation as a result of others' reactions to their differences. Sometimes this can result in trauma. The shame and potential self-loathing that can arise as a result of these experiences can impact an individual for a lifetime. I hope that if you are reading this, you are interested in addressing the negative feelings that may have arisen as a result of traumatic interactions in the world. If you have experienced any of the following, then specialist therapy where we discuss your experiences in a safe, judgement-free and emotionally supportive environment could be the next step for your healing process:

Evenly & The Uneven Titty Committee
I am very fortunate to have a long-standing friendship with Evenly founder and CEO Kate Taylor, who has kindly asked me to be the preferred third-party referral point for her clients who would like to talk to a mental health professional about their experience of breast asymmetry. Kate identified the need for the Bra Balancer™ as a non-surgical solution for those with breast asymmetry. Through this work, Kate also became aware of the ongoing mental health difficulties that can challenge her clients. She has asked me, as her trusted friend and a BACP-accredited counsellor and talking therapist, to be the preferred third-party referral point for those who want to talk to a mental health professional about their experiences. As an independent BACP-accredited counsellor and talking therapist with more than a decade of experience working with clients on complex and nuanced topics, I am delighted to offer my counselling and therapy services to those who come to find me through the inspiring work of Evenly, and additionally through the Evenly Facebook Group, The Uneven Titty Committee.* Please see my live diary page to book a free 30-minute online introductory session with me to discuss this, and any other issues that you might be interested in bringing to therapy. Find out more about booking, fees and frequency here. *Please note, Evenly acts only as a point of referral for Harley Counselling, and receives no incentives or remuneration for doing so. |
